This class will explore Spirit portraiture and visual symbols used to prove the continuity of life and presence of spirit in our lives.

The Class will start with a brief anatomy lesson and a discussion about natural proportions. There will also be a talk on different mediums such as pencil, pastels, charcoal, pen and ink, as well as paper types and styles of presentation. 

Time will be set aside for students to practice drawing each other to warm up.

We will then pair off and link into spirit to bring through images for each other. We will start in pairs of two then we will pair up in groups of 3 and 4, where one person will be read and the other will link in using verbal evidence while the third and or 4th person will share the link and draw from the evidence.

If there is time, we will also experiment with indirect mediumistic drawings, where some students will link into spirit and present evidence in a  drawing for the group. They will then present their work to see who will recognize the message.
